Report to: Sr. Manager, Marketing & Market
Development



Location: Shanghai



 



POSITION SCOPE



 





Serve as the local relay of the Product Management
and Vertical Market marketing teams in China. Provide regional input and help
deploy key initiatives within the region. This role is the marketing champion
within the China organization with deep understanding of the local market
environment (legal, social, economic environment, market trends, competition,
pricing and distribution). Hold the business together with all parties involved
in vertical market to ensure business success.

Qualifications

Responsibilities:





1.    Partner with marketing and sales teams to enhance visibility by
generating more leads/opportunities through
marketing events (conferences, road shows, workshops, VIP events, webinars,
e-newsletter, social media, etc.).



2.    Develop and implement growth strategies and action plans that will
generate growth in the specific segment and increases in Pharma market share



3.    Develop and maintain regional Market Model for Pharma business. Define
and/or refine the optimal GTM strategy for Pharma market segments and sub
vertical.



4.    Work with global Pharma business unit and marketing team to help define
new product opportunities, new product launches, develop positioning, sales
training, developing China specific sales tools in vertical market. Ensure
success during new product introductions; Product discontinuation.



5.    Manage vertical market funnel and conduct market and business analysis
for existing and new business opportunities. Identify the key areas of growth
and differentiation for the company in the region. Develop strategic and
tactical / business plans which effectively lead to the development of new
businesses or improve market share.



6.    Manage the delivery of sales training for Pharma and BioPharma across
China



7.    Establish and maintain the network with key expertsin vertical market and in major applications. Maintain high-level
business interactions with the key customers & Key Experts in
China to build strong and solid connections between SCIEX China and these
VIP’s. Feedback the customer voice and needs timely back to the JAPAC and
global Management team.



8.    Maximize company profit by balancing market share, revenue and margin.
Analyze the competition and the market dynamics and feedback back to management
team regularly.



9.    Track and actively manage competitor activities (regional product
offerings, pricing, promotions, etc) and generate competitive Responses (e.g.
battle cards,)



10.  Offer more voices from China whether about pricing matters or providing
critical inputs essential to developing the new successful product(s)
competitive for China market  



11.  In collaboration with Marketing Communication team and
Regional MD team, define and execute marketing
communications (conferences, web, media and PR) for specific business



12.  Consistence promotion SCIEX products and solution in Pharma &
BioPharma.
