This role is responsible for meeting daily customer demand and production schedules. The Manufacturing Technician II ensures safety and quality standards are maintained at all times. The Manufacturing Technician II will manufacture products by using a variety of specialized equipment, fixtures, work instructions and test equipment to perform a series of operations to correctly produce/assemble/test medical devices.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operates screen print machine according to Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) to deposit thick film conductors, resistors, overglaze, paint and/or marking ink to meet specifications on drawings
  • Knowledge of various screening inks and other materials, proper handling, storing and mixing procedures
  • Perform Preventive Maintenance on silkscreen machine and related equipment, as defined on the PM schedule
  • Prepare silkscreens for use and to recognize when screens need to be disposed of
  • Reads, interprets and verifies accuracy of SOP’s related to screen printing process
  • Knowledge of Resistor Network Database, data entry and retrieval of history by part
  • Use multimeter to measure DC ohms and profilometer to measure thickness of screened material as required
  • Work with Process/Mechanical Engineer as required to solve process/equipment problems
  • Use microscope to visually inspect work for acceptance
  • Evaluate self-work to ensure compliance with work instructions, SOP’s and time standards.
  • Verifies that completed product meets documented specifications by signing traveler
  • Records results of screen print runs in database

Job Requirements


Minimum Requirements:

  • High School Diploma /GED (or higher)
  • Possess good problem solving skills
  • Ability to lift up to 30 lbs
  • Ability to stand for extended periods of time
  • Fine manual dexterity to manipulate small parts and tools
  • Basic computer skills for accessing programs and entering data
  • Must be willing to work 2nd shift - 2:00 PM  to 10:30 PM

  • Experience with Clean Room
  • Previous working experience with Microscopes
  • Advanced Excel Proficiency
