Position Overview:

The Manufacturing Team Member will mix composite material to specifications and train others in department and must meet the basic qualifications of the job description    

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Problem solving abilities

    • Reformulate composite formulations to make product requirements

    • Assist with trials and experiments to bring in new technologies to improve quality

    • Improve layout and processes to make production more efficient

  • Chemical processing

    • Powder processing, resin monomer mixing, high-loading composite formulation

    • Analytical testing: Infrared, viscosity, Instron, spectroscopy, advanced rheometry

  • Desire to learn new skills including new technologies and leadership skills

  • Cross-functional team player to participate in week-long kaizen projects

  • Cross-train into other positions to learn and support multiple aspects of the business

  • Perform routine preventative maintenance on production equipment

  • Accountable for results with minimal supervision

  • Self-driven abilities to improve cleanliness, safety, quality, delivery, and productivity

  • Process driven to follow and improve cGMP Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)

  • Maintain a clean work area for safe and efficient operation, including replenishment of supplies

  • Maintain accurate and detailed records on all production and maintenance work orders

Job Requirements



  • Must have a high school diploma or GED.

  • 1-2 years of industrial experience, or equivalent.

  • Familiarity with Windows Operating System and Windows software and ERP business systems



  • Strong communication in English (Reading, writing, and verbal)

  • Strong troubleshooting abilities: problem solving, analytical, systems thinking

  • Team player

  • Attention to detail including punctuality

  • Ability to multi-task in a fast pace environment.

  • Ability to follow instructions and guidelines set forth by Production Manager or Superiors

  • Ability to act independently and make the appropriate decisions with minimal supervision as necessary
