You will be responsible for directing and managing all manufacturing activities to support business goals and objectives including daily management of the substrate laser, back-end operation and the dispense formulations value stream.
  • Manage substrate Value Stream to meet production TAKT requirements
  • Ensure efficient operation of the manufacturing department through training of key personnel
  • Use DBS (Danaher Business System) tools & lean concepts to improve manufacturability, productivity, yields, cost, variation reduction and quality
  • Supports long-range plans and objectives to meet future manufacturing requirements, including specific capital deployment projects to support growth, risk mitigation and cost saving initiatives
  • Demonstrate use of pFMECA Critical Control points to implement SPC and other tools to proactively drive continuous improvement
  • Implements and ensures that safety management is employed throughout the company
  • Perform supervisory activities including recruitment and selection, training and development, coaching and mentoring and administering performance and salary review process for direct reports
  • Make recommendation for direct labor staffing requirements
  • Develop and implement manufacturing procedures and methods to ensure compliance with FDA, GMP, ISO, Canadian Medical Regulations, and QA/QC federal, state and local regulatory agencies

Job Requirements


  • Bachelor’s degree in a Science, Engineering, Manufacturing or equivalent
  • 7+ years of manufacturing experience in a related industry
  • 2+ years of direct or indirect supervisory experience
  • A high degree of initiative and motivation in order to achieve expected results
  • Must possess strong interpersonal skills and be able to interface within cross-functional teams
  • Good problem solving, observational, writing and communication skills
  • Computer competence is required
