Reporting to                          Manager Manufacturing Science.  
  • Project planning, scheduling / organization of testing and investigational work in relation to Value Assignment.
  • Support to Technical Services, in product maintenance support, problem resolution/ corrective action implementation, where relevant.
  • Validation of excel templates for use in value assignment or other technical data analysis
  • Linearity pool production / stock maintenance.
  • Micro testing with regard to Value Assignment projects
  • Documentation of test results.
  • Report generation for value assignment projects.
  • Laboratory maintenance.
  • Stock control/maintenance.
  • Laboratory health and safety.
  • Equipment calibration/maintenance.
  • Procedural review and update as required.
  • Adherence to quality standards.
  • Any other relevant duties outlined by your Manager.

Job Requirements


Education and Experience
  • Degree or Diploma in Chemistry, Biochemistry or equivalent and/or experience in Clinical Chemistry or Immunology Reagent (development or use).
  • Familiar with handling of chemicals, bio-hazardous materials, enzymes and laboratory equipment and analysers.
  • Failure investigation techniques.
  • Skills in handling computer software for calculation of data and record keeping.
  • Quality assurance, GMP / FDA / ISO regulations.
  • Ability to run AU analysers an advantage.
