Description

The Manufacturing Engineering Manager will have a mixture of individual contributor and managerial roles focused on Immunoassay consumables products. Primary tasks will include managing and leading a professional team of engineers and scientists while implementing and completing projects that will deliver value to the company, facilitate growth and meet cost, quality, and delivery objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
  • A strong team contributor with leadership abilities to implement department strategy & mission while promoting individual development.
  • Uses Danaher Business Systems (DBS) to problem solve, manage projects and identify product quality improvements, manufacturing process improvements and direct material cost savings.
  • Leads and mentors’ team, dynamically allocating resources to projects that meet business goal and objectives. 
  • Leads high level continuous improvement projects influencing peers and departments to achieve company objectives.
  • Adhere to established policies and procedures.

Job Requirements



Qualifications

  • Candidate must have at least a bachelor’s degree in engineering or science with 9+ years’ experience OR Master’s degree with 7+ years’ experience.
  • Strong Engineering background with Product Development and/or Manufacturing Process experience. 
  • Strong interpersonal skills and leadership experience are desired. 
  • Leads by example and motivates personnel by creating a challenging, empowering and collaborative work environment.
  • Demonstrated project planning, management and technical leadership to successfully manage multiple priorities across activities and projects.  
  • Proven track record of working in GMP environment with automated manufacturing production. 
  • Project management skills, experience with Danaher Business Systems (DBS) or other lean systems, CAPA and design changes in a regulated environment are highly desired.
