The Manufacturing Engineer supports the day to day manufacturing operations for media, surface treatment processes in a Continuous Improvement environment.

  • Supports the strategic implementation of manufacturing processes within the organization for both new products and technology transfers
  • Responsible for continuous improvement of products and technologies within Pall’s manufacturing operations in conformance with established programs and objectives
  • Uses quality processes to drive improvement to meet key business objectives for Quality, Supply, Customer Satisfaction, Growth, and Productivity
  • Use statistical process control and visual factory systems for responsible areas
  • Leads projects related to continuous improvements and validation of manufacturing processes resulting in improved product quality, productivity, and yields
  • Technical leader for Intercompany media including ownership of all related manufacturing processes
  • Performs risk assessments and engineering analyses to support implementation of proceed improvements and changes
  • Leads root cause investigations using structured problem solving techniques
  • Work closely with R&D, Quality, Manufacturing, and Sales & Marketing groups in team based environment to drive company’s strategic initiatives for new products and technology transfer
  • Knowledge in handling universal, hazardous and non-hazardous waste (if applicable)
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Job Requirements



  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemical, Manufacturing, Mechanical, or Biomedical Engineering
  • 0-6 months in manufacturing environment, preferably in a cGMP regulated industry

  • Basic ability to produce effective, concise written communications about technical subjects. Can edit, standardize, and make changes to material prepared by others.

  • Ability to work on multiple projects, managing a broad range of tasks and prioritizing activities
  • Strong team-building skills
  • Able to explain and demonstrate training material to others
  • Basic training or coursework in project management. Capable of effectively managing a project and project team.
  • Must demonstrate and project integrity to employees and customers and uphold the company’s highest ethical standards
  • Effective interpersonal skills at any level within the organization
  • Ability to interact effectively with internal and external customers in order to accomplish goals
Other Requirements
  • Knowledge of ISO, FDA, cGMP’s, and CFR requirements preferred
  • Applicable safety trainings such as: RCRA, DOT, etc.
  • Minimal bending, lifting, and pushing
