Main Responsibility:

As a Manufacturing Engineer, you are responsible for the technical day-to-day working of your assigned production areas. This within the field of Safety, Quality, Productivity, Materials, and all other relevant aspects of manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities: 

  • You support the production process and identify issues and bottlenecks;
  • You create, and implement, appropriate solutions in collaboration with other departments in a timely manner;
  • You provide support to production in respect to trouble-shooting;
  • You proactively perform a follow-up of the overall equipment efficiency and report these to daily management;
  • You interact with the Quality Department on complaints and production related deviations;
  • As a subject matter specialist, you make recommendations for improvements.

Job Requirements


Education, Skills and Competencies: 

  • Master’s Degree in Engineering, or equivalent by experience;
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment (Young potentials will be considered);
  • Technically savvy;
  • Statistical know-how;
  • Exposure to LEAN principals is an advantage;
  • Computer literate (Excel, Minitab…);
  • Fluent in Dutch and English;
  • Hands-on approach;
  • Solution driven;
  • Proactive realist;
  • Excellent communicator with an empathic approach;
  • Influencer;
  • Open to be challenged and not change averse;
  • Creative, stress resistant, and able to prioritise; 
  • Team Player.
