Work Schedule: Wednesday: 1PM - 7PM / Thursday - Saturday 7AM - 7PM

This Operator II role is at our Timonium, MD manufacturing facility, and requires skill in multiple areas of operations. Collaboration and the willingness to assist others on the production lines are expectations for this role. Operator II’s have troubleshooting skills, and a focus on Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) and Quality in all actions. Associates in these roles will run machines with minimal support, and partner with team members and team leads to support the goals of the manufacturing facility. Associates MUST be punctual, reliable, and willing to work the stated schedule, as well as any required overtime/holidays.

The Operator II will:

  • Read and understand the Standard Operating Procedure for all machines and all areas within a Value Stream

  • Learn and follow standard work for all areas within a Value Stream

  • Conduct Daily 5S activities

  • Follow instructions from manufacturing team leads and operations leadership team members

  • Run machinery and equipment with limited support

  • Change over machinery and equipment as needed

  • Partner with team members; train associates as required

  • Follow Quality standards for all equipment

  • Ensure safe work conditions and identify/improve environmental health and safety

  • Complete an hourly scorecard

Requirements for the role include the ability to:

  • Read and write simple statements

  • Analyze, memorize, conduct, and comprehend simple mathematical tasks

  • Make decisions using sound judgment

  • Lift and carry up to 50 pounds

  • Stand, sit, stoop, bend, walk, reach, squat, kneel, push and pull for long periods of time

  • Climb a ladder and flex the upper and lower body

  • Wear a face respirator up to 4 hours at a time

Job Requirements


Basic Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in heavy/industrial manufacturing environment
  • High School Diploma
  • Must be able to work holidays and/or overtime as needed
  • Timely and consistent attendance is a must

Preferred Requirements:

  • Proactive – ability to work independently with little supervision
  • Excellent interpersonal & communication skills
  • Good reasoning abilities, sound judgment
  • Resourceful and well organized – keeping a work area clean, safe, and orderly
  • Problem solver, with the ability to develop a plan of corrective action
  • Mechanical aptitude
  • Basic troubleshooting skills
  • PC skills are a plus
  • Able to become Quality certified and self-inspect
