    • Coordinate legal entity profitability management for all Leica group entities in
      order to ensure local tax (law) and international transfer pricing compliance
    • Support and provide advice to Leica Finance and/or the business related to
      indirect tax issues (VAT, GST, WHT, duties)
    • Manage Leica’s tax position and identify its tax related exposures globally
    • Act as liaison, i.e., key contact person, for all tax matters within Leica, with
      DHR Corporate Tax, and with other DHR opco’s
    • Support the preparation of various periodical tax reporting
      packages to DHR Corporate Tax including understanding and managing any
      (permanent and temporary) differences between US-GAAP and local books
    • Participate in DHR Corporate Tax, Leica Finance, and/or business related
      projects that (may) have a tax impact (e.g., corporate (re-)structuring, including
      merging, liquidating, and establish entities, business integrations, impact of
      organizational changes, acquisition related due diligence work, contractual
      reviews, potential business model or physical supply chain changes for new
      territories or specific countries, etc)

Job Requirements


  • Degree in Finance or Tax Management
  • 5+ years of relevant corporate income tax experience, preferably in the tax department of a medium-sized US multi-national company or big4
  • Multiple years of experience in managing complex transfer pricing frameworks in a multi-national environment
  • Very good understanding of transfer pricing rules and experiences in operational transfer pricing
  • Good understanding of US tax principles and principles of indirect taxation
  • Proficiency in all MS Office applications, basic knowledge of SAP/R3 and Hyperion Essbase
  • Fluency in written and spoken English
  • Willingness to travel 10%
