Description

The Manager Finance is the expert in the region who will establish world-class finance operations and drive financial analysis and planning. The objective is to build a robust and proactive finance organization that can play an important role in steering the operational Finance processes and help Sciex India to achieve the established targets and growth.

As Manager Finance you are responsible for execution of the daily India finance activities, including month end closing, forecasting and budgeting. You oversee the entire India P&L (including local entities) covering top line, Opex and GP/OP analysis. In this role you will be working closely with FP&A and Business Control team located in Europe to provide the necessary information and input to support the planning and control activities. Acting as a Business Partner for the India General Manager and the Sales organization is part of the role to ensure all risk and opportunities are covered and translated into the P&L impact. Furthermore, you will be acting as advisor and first point of contact for the Accounting team based in Mumbai to provide guidance and support.

Responsibilities:

  • Advice and support the organization in the implementation and execution of Finance policies and procedures in order to be complaint and meet company core values;
  • Take responsibility for the effective and efficient management of all administrative procedures and automation for the financial discipline;
  • Partnering with Business to prepare the monthly forecast for orders, revenues, operating expenses, capex and working capital and monitoring actual monthly performance with analysis of deviations;
  • Take the responsibility for the deliverables (like reports, information, data) have been reported and handled in time. This includes interaction with a wide range of stakeholders on regional and global levels;
  • Drive cost efficiency and conducted full P&L analysis including margin, GP, Opex and OP;
  • Co-ordinate monthly leads, orders and revenue funnel process to ensure visibility of leading performance indicators by product, market segment and geography;
  • Setting, reporting and interpretation of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and ensure they are aligned to the regional and Corporate KPIs;
  • Support Sales Organization to facilitate core growth targets & lead efforts to reduce expenses and optimize Operating Profit;
  • Manage specific projects as directed by the business.

Job Requirements



Qualifications

•         Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy, a proactive mentality and ability to perform well under pressure.

•         Capable of communicating precisely and effectively with internal stakeholders including cross-functional alignment;

•         Minimum level of experience of 5-10 years in a financial environment in an all-round independent position where all financial aspects are handled;

•         Showing integrity, having a critical mind and attitude;

•         Pro-actively identifying business opportunities and risk assessments

•         Excellent MS Excel knowledge. Oracle, Hyperion Financial Management (HFM).

•         Your Best competences are; excellent communication skills, Initiative, creativity, judgement, accuracy, building and maintaining contacts and relations.
