Essential Duties, Critical Success Factors, Responsibilities, Authorities and Required Interactions:

-       Manager and Team Leader of the SCIEX EMEA AP Team. Manages the activities of a fast pace Accounts Payable organization, based in The Netherlands and in India.

-       Acts as liaison between/within Finance and other functional areas within/outside the Company to meet information needs and company priorities.

-       Oversee AP monthly end close processes accurately and timely, incl. the preparation of accruals and review of month end issues.

-       Initiates, promotes, and support continuous improvement ideas (process, output, timing, etc.).

-       Serves as a project lead for transformational activities that take place within the Shared Service Center and involve Accounts Payables.

-       Develop the vendor management function, drive efficiency and saving initiatives.

-       Lead the Accounts Payable organization with methods and actions that are ethical and in full compliance with all applicable laws, regulations and Company policies.


Job Requirements


Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:

-       BSc / MSc degree in accounting or relate field.

-       Proven experience in a similar role within an international operating company, preferably in a shared service center environment.

-       Decent knowledge of accounting principles (US GAAP) in relation to Accounts Payable processes.

-       Good understanding of internal control concepts.

-       Staff management skills in an international and agile organization

-       Experienced in transformation projects.

-       Ability to build good relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

-       Ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment (US listed company).

-       Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.

-       Well-developed software skills (MS Office suit, Oracle, HFM).

-       Trouble shooter with a “hands on, can-do mentality”, commitment to ethical behavior.

Willingness to travel where required.
