  • The technician will provide system service, troubleshooting, repairs and maintenance to the water treatment.

  • The technician will perform repair and maintenance for various lab equipment and building infrastructure.

  • The technician will maintain equipment by monitoring status and addressing problems using troubleshooting and repair techniques.

  • The technician will coordinate planned and unplanned activities with contractors and vendors to perform repairs and preventative maintenance activities for various lab equipment and building infrastructure.

  • The technician will carefully document all repairs and adjustment activities.

  • The technician will provide support to Calibration group as needed.

  • The technician will provide support to general Facilities Services and EH&S as needed.

  • The technician will record all maintenance and general facilities activities in the company’s work order system (Blue Mountains Regulatory Asset Manager - RAM).

    Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • A high school diploma, or equivalent, is required.  Associate’s Degree or vocational/technical training is strongly desired.

  • A minimum of 2-5 years of maintenance technician experience, in a GLP/GMP environment, is required.

  • Hands on experience troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining industrial water treatment or water chemistry is required.

  • Hands on experience troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining pneumatic system, dehumidifiers, compressed air systems, air dryers and HVAC equipment is plus.

  • The ability to perform basic to intermediate installation and repair duties for electrical and plumbing is required.

  • Ability to read schematics.

  • Basic computer skills and working knowledge of MS-Word and Excel.

  • Excellent workmanship standards are essential.

  • Excellent customer service, verbal and written communication skills are required.

  • Must dependable and willing and able to work an after-hours on-rotation schedule, to include some overtime, weekends, and holidays.

    Physical Demands:

  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

  • Able to climb ladders and work above ceilings.

  • Ability to work on roof tops.
