Second Shift Schedule: 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM

Maintenance Mechanic

The Maintenance Mechanic provides maintenance support throughout Pall Aerospace, New Port Richey, Florida and assigned locations.


  1. Install, diagnose, repair, wire, and maintain a variety of electrical and electronic equipment and controls related to production and building equipment. This includes, but not limited to, motors, pumps, relays, circuit breakers, electronic machine controls and circuits, computers, printers, and other equipment.
  2. Fabricate complex parts to blueprint and working instructions using various hand and power tools.
  3. Work from wiring diagrams, schematics, and manuals.
  4. Maintains preventive maintenance schedules and records as needed
  5. Install and maintain a wide variety of complicated machine tools, test stands, and building equipment with minimum direction.
  6. Set-up and maintain preventive maintenance schedules and records as required.
  7. Analyze and interpret test data, adjust, calibrate, align, and modify circuits and components.
  8. Build equipment from engineering drawings.
  9. Complete all necessary paperwork as required including scorecards, hazard recognitions, routers and data.
  10. Receives work assignments from Supervisor or Team Leader.
  11. Work with minimal supervision.
  12. Support company goals and policies.
  13. Trains co-workers and supports continuous cross training improvements.
  14. Continuously seeks opportunities to improve processes and procedure and communicates to management.
  15. Participate in Kaizen and other continuous improvement programs.
  16. Perform other related duties as assigned.

  7. Support the Site and company Quality policies (i.e. FOD and line clearance policies of the company).

  8. Serve as a role model to others.

  9. Is the “go-to person” for co-workers: Trains wo-workers in a patient and positive manner and is an example to others on how to train.

  10. Participate in a minimum of one (1) Kaizen event each year.

Job Requirements



  1. High School diploma or equivalent (i.e. GED)
  2. Trade school degree in electronics or previous electrical repair and wiring experience preferred.     
  3. Prior experience working with a manufacturing environment.
  4. At least three (3) years of related experience preferred.
  5. Five (5) or more years of work experience with electronic maintenance, troubleshooting, diagnosis and repair of CNC based machine tools and controls (major brands) highly preferred.
  6. Own and use a basic tool set.

  7. Must have electrical wiring experience.

  8. Knowledge of electronic systems, components, and their functions is preferred.

  9. Computer proficient in Word, Excel, Lotus Notes or Outlook, and searching internet for maintenance related solutions.

  10. Work overtime as required.

  11. Knowledgeable of applicable regulations, such as Lock-out – Tag-out.

  12. Effectively communicate, understand and follow verbal and written instructions.


  1. Continuous mental and visual attention is required.

  2. Required lifting weight: Minimum of 35 lbs. Lifting frequency: Daily.

  3. Required to stand for long time periods (for a minimum of 8 hours or more).

  4. Frequently twist and bend.

  5. Frequently works with solvents, oils, and other chemicals.


This position requires access to export-controlled commodities, technical data, technology, software, and services.  U.S. citizenship, U.S. legal permanent resident status, protected person status, or U.S. Government export authorization is required. 

Any offer of employment is contingent upon Pall obtaining the necessary employment visa and export authorization, including, if required, an export license from the applicable U.S. government agency.

Perform preventative maintenance as required.

Must follow all environmental policies and procedures when working with chemicals, oils, and solvents.
