Position Summary:
  • Review, confirm, and receive all incoming packages to Pall ForteBio
  • Make daily data entries in Great Plains (GP) ERP system to represent these activities in order to keep accurate inventory record balances.
  • Work with Buyers for questions on incoming packages
  • Stage material for put away.
  • Inform internal customers of packages to be picked up
  • Ship International and Domestic packages

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Receive goods into the ERP system
  • Check received goods for accuracy, identify, condition and quality
  • Problem solve with Purchasing & Accounts Payable
  • Receive returned goods and properly located/quarantine them.
  • Inform internal customers of package pickup via emails

  • Package kits for shipment
  • Work with manufacturing to obtain materials for shipments
  • Work with order administration to resolve shipping priorities or problems with orders, carriers, etc.
  • Create domestic and international shipping paperwork, including Shippers Letters of Instruction and Commercial Invoice.
  • ERP order fulfillment using error-checking methods
  • Interface and enter data with on-line carriers shipping programs (FedEx, DHL, etc.)

Skills and Knowledge:
  • Accurately enter data into ERP systems, spreadsheets, FedEx systems, etc.
  • Count accurately and quickly
  • Inspect product (identify and classify)
  • Be able to communicate to multiple departments.

Technical or Product Knowledge:
  • Packing / unpacking hi-tech products
  • Handling chemical receipts.
  • ERP system knowledge
  • Forklift skills

Job Requirements


  • 3+ years shipping and receiving experience
  • 3+ years ERP system interface experience
  • H.S. Diploma or Equivalent

Other Requirements:
  • Required to lift 40# and use material handling equipment
  • Data entry experience
  • Material handling experience
  • Be capable of working with all departments in a face-paced, hi-tech environment where customer satisfaction is a given.
  • Working closely with department associates
  • Work with minimal supervision, but follow area supervisor’s instructions explicitly.
  • Take instruction from non-department supervisors, yet keep department supervisor informed of these instructions.
