GENERAL DESCRIPTION

ChemTreat’s sales opportunities are specific to water treatment and require an individual with both sales and technical knowledge within the industry. This water treatment sales position is focused on managing existing accounts and growing new business to drive ChemTreat’s market position within a geography or an industry.

DESCRIPTION

The Latin America Commissions Manager will support ChemTreat’s Commercial and Finance organizations with all aspects of calculating, tracking, and reporting commissions for Sales associates for our Latin America sales forece. ChemTreat LatAM supports a diverse commission structure worth $3 million annually.  This role is critical to the Company’s continued strategic growth.  This role will lead as key point of contact for commissions in Latin America.


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES

•        Manages commission plans and makes GENERAL modifications to database as needed.

•        Calculates commissions to sales associates based on individual commission plan provisions and submits data to Payroll for payment.

•        Delivers LatAM commission reporting for each of ChemTreat’s global geographies.

•        Complete ad hoc reporting as necessary for Payroll, Finance or other functions.

•        Supports Sales, Payroll, and HR teams with development and implementation of commission plans.

•        Produces replication of ChemTreat’s North American commission structure in Latin America in accordance with local laws and regulations as guided by the Global Commissions Manager, Payroll and HR.

•        Evaluates effectiveness of commission structures through the use of analytical tools.

•        Resolves reconciliation issues and processing exceptions related to commission data.

•        Completes other strategic analysis and ad hoc projects as assigned by the FP&A Director.

SUPPLEMENTAL RESPONSIBILITIES

•        Define and implement standard work processes to gain efficiency and accuracy in reporting and to ensure standardized processing of commissions across geographies.

•        Support the annual Budget setting and monthly reporting, as needed.

•        This position will require periodic travel to other company locations, potentially including Latin America and the United States of America.

Qualifications

KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS 

•        Understanding of commission calculations and concepts.

•        Strong Analytical skills and business/accounting knowledge; Advance Skills in Excel, Word and Microsoft Outlook. 

•        Self-Starter that takes pride in his/her work and takes the initiative. 

•        Independent thinker who can think outside the box. 

•        Results oriented person that generates creative solutions. 

•        Must be comfortable with change and continuous improvement efforts.

•        Strong Interpersonal skills; Teamwork & Leadership skills; Self-Motivated, and ability to Multi-task.

  • Able to effectively communicate with individuals for whom English is a second language

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

•        Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

•        3-5 years of experience in a sales compensation or related role. 

•        Knowledge of payroll laws and regulations strongly preferred.

•        Knowledge of US GAAP, as it relates to sales compensation, preferred.

•        Experience using financial reporting tools such as Excel.

•        Bilingual in Spanish or Portuguese preferred.
