Description

PURPOSE OF POSITION

This position has responsibility for the achievement of overall sales revenue targets of their territory. This role will be responsible for building and maintaining relationship with an established customer base along with prospecting, engaging and closing new accounts. 

The ideal candidate is dynamic, confident, self-disciplined and thrives on a challenge. The role requires a self-motivated individual with problem solving skills, a competitive nature and a dynamic personality.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Achieve agreed upon Sales forecasts, objectives and goals
  • Develop sales forecast for region
  • Build & maintain strong business relationships with key contacts
  • Attend trade shows in region, identified through Marketing and agreed upon with Sales Manager
  • Thorough knowledge of all products, customers and marketing strategies
  • Generate new leads & maintain current customer base
  • Quoting and completing the sale of products according to company policies
  • Contacting all existing prospects and maintaining records in Sales CRM
RELATIONSHIPS
  • Serves as a key member of the Sales Team
  • Works closely with Customer Service, Product Support, Product Management, Marketing Finance and  Operations

Qualifications

  • Post-secondary education an asset 
  • 1-2 years’ experience in sales role
  • Results driven
  • Passionate - can do attitude
  • Exceptional communication skills and well developed interpersonal skills
  • Excellent time management/organizational skills with the ability to meet important deadlines in a fast paced environment
  • Team player
  • Highly proficient in MS office
  • Ability to work independently and be self-motivated
