• Supporting the entire Sales team in selling products to the Market with focus on complex biopharmaceutical applications and purification technologies. This involves automated and manual processing systems (Chrome columns & skids, TFF and Direct Flow Filtration systems, Mixers, Storage Devices, Bioreactors, etc.), Single Use Consumables, Virus- and Tangential Flow Filtration.
• Daily pro-active interaction with customers preferably on site, with focus on support and business development by identifying new and securing existing business of Pall. 
Maximising time for company visits and individuals with a view to maintain and build up strong relationships with customers and acting as intermediary between Pall and its clients. Outside field activity target is 80% of working time.
• Develop and maintain relationships to potential clients and promote products and services offered by Pall incl. Biopharma, Single Use Technologies and Systems. Coordinate and manage inter-disciplinary teams to ensure achievement of timelines and milestones in customer projects. 
• Meet and exceed commercial targets with the entire team.
• Updating and maintaining opportunities/Sales Funnel and customer data in the CRM system on a weekly basis (CRM = Customer Relation Management System).
• Entrepreneurship – taking care of Pall’s business in assigned area with high level of self-responsibility.
• Report Sales progress and risks, successes, losses, deviations and customer activities/developments pro-actively on a weekly basis. Writing and distributing reports of relevant visits/meetings. 
• Handle customer requests/issues/deviations, delegate them internally and follow up on progress, results, right communication and customer satisfaction.
• Collaborate with Marketing on effective lead generation, evaluate and support marketing campaigns.
• Conducting Market Research and monitoring of competitor activity.
• Talk/Present to larger group of people, also in English.
• Flexibility to re-locate in Switzerland.

Job Requirements


• A BioTech, Chemical or equivalent engineering education
• Prepared to travel in Switzerland and abroad incl. overnight stays.
• Good knowledge of Biopharmaceutical Processing and Biotechnology.
• Being professional and knowledgeable of the services and products offered by Pall Corporation. 
• Being able to build strong relationships
• Acting with highest level of Ethics and Integrity according to company’s Policies
• Negotiating skills and good level of Empathy
• Customer focussed – polite, responsive and persistent/able to cope with frequent rejections.
• Being ambitious, confident and able to take initiative; being enthusiastic about business development.
• Self-Motivated. 
• Excellent in internal and external communication. 
• High level of Time Management and Organisation.
• Fluent in German and English, may require additional languages depending on territory.
• Car driving license.
