Description

Administrative position that supports production and warehouse departments through SAP transactions and investigations – including cycle counting and production board transactions to ensure correct inventory and timely resolution to material supply issues. Responsibilities include:

  • Dynamic bins for accuracy and investigates issues and follows to closure.

  • Supports production, when needed, with transactional issues.  This could include, job pulls, job closures, and any production order errors (COGI’s and incorrect count)

  • Assists Finance Controller with reports as needed.

  • Administers and coordinates warehouse cycle count process.  Ensures that the cycle count process is on target monthly for the ABC analysis and dollar value requirements.

  • Ensures standardization and consistency of counting process, techniques, and procedures.

  • Identifies inventory control problems.  Acts in a timely manner to correct these problems (within 24 hours).  Discusses inventory issues with Finance Controller that require his/her sign off

  • Displays strong interpersonal skills requiring a high degree of tact in dealing with Value Stream Leaders, planning department, and bargaining unit personnel relative to cycle count issues

  • Supports warehouse Value Stream Leader and Manager with warehouse transactions as needed

  • Participates and engages employees during Kaizens to drive continuous improvements

  • Effectively drives and mentors Danaher Business Systems (DBS), while championing an environment of teamwork and associate engagement

  • Strong understanding and compliance of company safety policies and procedures as related to this position, including reading all relevant safety literature, using required protective equipment and practicing good housekeeping

  • Ensure a safe working environment exists consistent with OSHA and company policies and safety equipment is maintained and effectively used

  • Ensure that environmental regulations and good practices are adhered to

  • Performs other duties as assigned


Job Requirements



Qualifications

  • High School Diploma

  • Proficient in SAP and Microsoft Excel

  • Five (5) + year’s experience in a manufacturing environment
