Description

POSITION SUMMARY:

The primary role of this position is to provide quality support to UK field sales and customers. The Internal Field Sales Support (IFSS) is the primary point of contact for customers and sales associates, providing them accurate and prompt support: complete assignments agreed with and required by field sales, including generation of quotes, product information and providing assistance to customers when needed. 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 
  • Responds to inbound calls and written requests for quotations by providing quotes and other sales materials to prospective & existing customers in all vertical markets. 
  • Identify customers' needs and provide the 'best' or 'total' solution drawing from a wide range of products and services using question-based selling techniques (QBS). 
  • Provide advanced information on products where needed.
  • Accurate and timely completion of requests to execute updates, changes, and new information within CRM. 
  • Connects customers to appropriate department for assistance (technical support, customer service, service). 
  • Manage and qualify leads upon receival, creating sales opportunity if needed. 
  • Other duties as assigned by management. 

Job Requirements



Qualifications

  • Qualification in Environmental Science, Biology, Chemistry, related field preferable but not mandatory. 

  • Previous customer relations experience via e-mail and phone. 

  • Demonstrated ability to resolve customer complaints/problems and provide follow up to customers and supervisor. 

  • Demonstrated ability to make sound customer related decisions and respond quickly to the needs of the customer. 

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products, knowledge of Salesforce.com CRM is considered a plus

  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
