We are currently seeking a Inside Sales Engineer to support our growing

Aerospace business.

Position Objective: 

Come work for the best fluid handling and filtration team in the Aerospace business!
We’re looking for a Inside Sales Engineer to come and join our team in either France (Saint-Germain-en-Laye) or Italy (Milan).

As a Inside Sales Engineer at PALL you will be responsible for designated Customer Accounts in the Aerospace market. You will provide an adequate active sales role, mainly by telephone, with targets of sales growth and long-term Customer retention.

Other duties include serving and expanding a Telesales Customer base by regular phone calls, identifying Customer needs, preparing quotations, initiating Customer orders and taking care of any kind of Customer communication.

This is a great opportunity for an engineering graduate to secure a commercial role with no prior sales experience.

 

Role and Duties:

  • Manage the assigned Telesales accounts within Europe (Italy and France). Meet the Budget and GM targets for the assigned area of responsibility.
  • Take an active role in Sales by continuously contacting the assigned Customers by phone. Visit key Customers as appropriate to strengthen relationships.
  • Ensure existing and generate additional business, achieve the planned growth rates.
  • Be the “one face to the Customer” partner for our Customers, generate sales opportunities, prepare quotations, and initiate Customer orders. (above four 70%)
  • Ensure full surveillance of the total sales process chain, from quote to after sales service, if appropriate. (10%)
  • Prepare corresponding reports to the team leader.
  • Apply Pall’s “Customer First” initiative to provide best service.
  • Coordinate activities with Sales Management, Field Sales, Technical Inside Sales, and Customer Service, where necessary.
  • Create and maintain Customer profile, including sales potential, Customer organization, Customer needs, activities of competitors, by use of the CRM tool.
  • Report results during the quarterly Sales and Projection Meetings.
  • Regularly monitor KPIs and report success against targets to the Sales management where applicable
  • Use basic technical knowledge to deal with Customer questions, requests, in case of technical problems, and in such instances contact Field Sales, Sales Managers, Engineering, Operations, Customer Service, and internal or external suppliers, where and as appropriate.
  • Closely work with the Export Control Officer in cases of quotes/orders where which fall under export Control rules
  • Work along defined processes and QA procedures.
  • Provide cover for other Aerospace team members in their absence.
  • Any other agreed tasks as required to support the Sales Team

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications/ Experience: 

  • Degree educated within an Engineering discipline

  • Fluent languages: Italian, French and English (verbally and in writing).

  • Extraordinary telephone skills.

  • Driven to succeed

  • Highly developed ‘Customer satisfaction’ mind-set.

  • Good communication skills (externally and internally)

  • Attentive to detail.
