Description

Beckman Coulter Life Sciences develops,
manufactures and markets products that simplify, automate and foster new
developments in complex biomedical testing.   For more than 75 years,
our products have been improving the productivity of research scientists by
offering them a complete range of advanced tools - ranging from flow
cytometers, centrifuges and modular liquid handling systems to fully integrated
robotic systems. Both fully flexible and application-dedicated automation
platforms support research in genomics, proteomics, cellular analysis, and
forensics and drug discovery.



We are expanding our Sales Development team for
transformation and growth. You’ll receive all the training you need, both in
product and inside sales technique.



 Inside Sales/Consumable Sales Responsibilities:




  • Coordinate multiple consumable sales
    opportunities and account management activities.

  • Demonstrate effective selling
    skills and product understanding to uncover customer needs to position an appropriate
    consumable solution

  • Effectively manage product line
    consumables in the assigned territory through strategic planning and
    tactical implementation

  • Utilize Sales Force.com as a
    CRM and consumable funnel management.

  • Qualify prospects to determine
    sales potential.

  • Effectively coordinate with
    your outside field representative to assist in driving consumable growth
    and improve instrument consumable attachment rates.

  • Expand consumable attachments
    to current instrument install base

  • Execute current consumable
    campaign against new business opportunities, grow existing opportunities,
    and retain our current consumables customer base.

  • Actively participate and
    develop new accounts, generate sales quotes and handle customer inquiries.
  • Solid understanding of tactical sales skills and progressing customers through the buying cycle.
  • Proven ability and capacity to learn technical and complex information.
  • Self-starter…you’re the kind of person that sees opportunity and tackles it!
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Excellent time management skills leading to results.
  • Highly motivated, success driven and passion for sales

  • Building rapport with prospects and customers to
    generate new and retain existing business

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree with a focus in Business / Marketing or Life Sciences.
  • Experience with personal computer, e-mail, and Microsoft Office Programs
