Processor – Injection Molding

Position Summary 

The Injection Molding Processor is a “hands on” position responsible for coordinating the molding efforts on new program launches, setting up and/or revising existing processes to ensure quality product is produced at the highest yields, and assists the manufacturing operations in problem solving and driving continuous process improvements in a high volume, high tolerance molding environment.

Qualifications

Qualifications

Five to Ten year(s) experience in plastic injection molding processing.

Experience in high volume/high tolerance injection molding.

Thorough understanding of scientific molding concepts (RJG Master Molder)

Strong communication skills.

polypropalenes Experience -preferred

Thorough understanding of scientific molding concepts (RJG Master Molder)

Ownership approach to problem solving.

Ability to effectively manage time and meet scheduled deadlines.

Ability to lift up to 45 lbs.

Must have high school diploma or GED.

In depth understanding of injection molding concepts, processing and system operation.

Ability to stay organized while managing multiple critical tasks.

This role may require shift work on occasion that could require overtime and/or weekend work.



Preferred Qualifications

Medical molding experience preferred.

Experience with Sumitomo and Engel hydraulic and electric machines a plus.

Certification and/or degree in a plastic injection molding program a plus but not required.

RJG Systematic molding training a plus but not required.
