Description

Summary:
  • Manage and organize all Import / Export documentation due to the requirements
  • Manage and organize all parts logistics due to the requirements
  • Manage Daily bookings goods receipt & stock keeping

Main Duties:
  • Ensure shipments are processed in a safe, quality, and timely manner
  • Assist in the receipt and tracking of imported goods 
  • Assist in the development of proper distribution procedures
  • Assist in the research of import and export regulations
  • Perform root cause analysis to drive proactive solutions to systemic problems.  Identify areas of opportunity to reduce exposure and expense, recommend course of action to achieve reduction.
  • Ensure collection of any carrier claim; perform follow up activities as necessary. 
  • Develop/update and publish SOPs (standard operating procedures) and deduction and claims processes. 
  • Socialize procedures and policies to involved areas of company including POD (Proof of Delivery) collection and automation enhancements.

Job Requirements



Qualifications

  • Education in the area of Logistics or Import/Export or a similar related background
  • Several years of experience
  • Computer literate in MS Office, SAP and/or AEB Software
  • Well organized
  • Good team player
  • German fluent and English at least conversational
