Description


The HR Manager partners with line managers to deliver a broad rand of HR services including talent acquisition, talent development; employee engagement and retention; training; employee relations; HR compliance, and general policy administration.  The HR Manager coordinates and administers HR systems, processes and programs related to compensation, employee records, employee relations, and training.

Responsibilities:
  • Develops and deploys staffing processes, procedures and tools to ensure recruitment of top talent while maintaining compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Ensures delivery of staffing process including initiation of requisitions, job postings, sourcing, screening and interviewing candidates, and job offers.
  • Assists Sr. HR Manager with administration of compensation programs, including coordinating participation in annual salary surveys, assisting with annual compensation reviews and development of salary guidelines, and managing the annual performance review process.
  • Prepares job descriptions and assists with job evaluation and benchmarking
  • Provides guidance and coaching to managers and associates on interpretation of Human Resources policies, programs and procedures, resolution of employee relations issues, and support in performance management.
  • Provides consultation and training to managers with regard to performance management tools including Danaher Performance for Growth (P4G) and Danaher Development for Growth (D4G).
  • Provides support to the development, implementation, maintenance, and coordination of human resources records and/or computerized Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS).
  • Interprets and applies Human Resource policies, procedures and programs ensuring consistent application while working with management to provide solutions that balance business and employee needs in compliance with Company policy.
  • Assists in the development of and provides consultation on Human Resources policies and procedures.

Job Requirements



Qualifications

Required skills:
  • 5-7 years of Human Resources Generalist or HRBP experience
  • Demonstrated understanding of basic HR competencies – Employee Relations, Compensation and Benefits, Recruiting and Retention, Performance Management, and state and federal compliance
Desired skills:
  • Experience in medical device or diagnostics industry
  • Understanding of Lean manufacturing principles
Education:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management or related field
Travel:
  • 10% domestic travel 
  • Occasional overnight trips
