The HR Representative II assists in providing general human resource support for the Miami site and works with HR business partners in support of their client groups. The incumbent assists in creating, updating and implementing company human resource policies, programs and practices and offers counsel and assistance to different levels of associates.
Responsibilities include providing support related to a variety of HR processes including (but not limited to):
  • Recruit & manage the selection process for a variety of positions.  Manage the hiring process for internal interviews including scheduling and system management through our applicant tracking system (Taleo). Coordinate leadership assessment processes as part of leadership recruiting process. May assist with our EEO/AAP program and reporting requirements.
  • Conduct basic employee relations investigations including interviewing and documenting, consulting with HR Business Partners and Employee Relations leader. May represent organization in unemployment claims hearings.
  • Coordinate training and development activities including identifying and scheduling facilitators, assembling materials and scheduling resources. May also facilitate trainings and/or lunch and learns on their own.
  • Conduct new employee orientation including ensuring up-to-date content through subject matter experts and presenting the HR content.
  • Generating HR reports and conduct initial data analysis through pivot tables, graphs, v look up and other intermediate and advanced level excel functions.
  • Support cyclical HR processes and programs throughout the year including training on process and systems to small and large group forums, report writing, and providing general support to associates and managers.
  • May monitor and update labor law postings, immigration postings, etc. in accordance with State and Federal laws.
  • Answer basic employee questions and/or facilitate the resolution of basic employee concerns.
  • May contribute to HR project teams and special assignments.
  • It is essential that this person is able to handle sensitive and confidential information.

Job Requirements


  • A Minimum of a Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university is required.
  • A minimum of three (3) years of relevant HR experience is required.
  • The ideal candidate will possess mature interpersonal skills, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and an outgoing personality to effect positive relations with managers and associates.  This person must be able to critically think through processes and problems to achieve objectives. The candidate must also have strong administrative and organizational skills to handle a variety of assignments and ability to determine appropriate priorities to meet deadlines.
  • Requires the incumbent to be computer & systems literate with intermediate to advanced knowledge in MS Office applications (particularly Excel), in addition familiarity with additional systems including Oracle, Success Factors, Taleo, is preferred. 
  • Basic knowledge of State and Federal employment and benefit laws is required.
  • Experience in a HR setting working with HR professionals in areas like Talent Acquisition, Compensation & Benefits, Employee Relations, Talent Management, Payroll, Compliance and/or HRIS is a plus.
  • Previous experience delivering training programs is preferred.
  • Previous experience with talent management processes.
  • Strong understanding and previous experience in talent acquisition, including competency-based recruitment, process management, metrics and onboarding.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills, and understand the implications their actions and the HR function will have on the organizational demands of a rapidly evolving company.
  • Results oriented – has track record for delivery results, takes ownership and is accountable
  • Continuous improvement oriented – has familiarity with lean and change management principles and how to apply them to HR
  • Customer Service oriented and ability to managing to tight deadlines
  • Proven ability to operate within a matrix organization across multiple site locations.
  • Is a team player who recognizes the importance of relationship management and builds credibility through action and results.
