Description

The Human Resources Manager provides HR leadership and expertise to the BEC Turkey organization on the people-related matters affecting the entire Turkish organization including: Dx Business Unit,
LS Business Unit, Warehouse and supporting back office functions. The HRM will be responsible for a broad range of HR activities including organization and leadership development, change management, and employee relations; with a strong focus on talent acquisition and management development.

The Human Resources Manager will design, implement and support talent strategies and programs to enhance the effectiveness of managers, performance management development and movements of talent. In doing so, they will lead and oversee strategic client and/or company projects (which may span broader geographies) and drive execution and implementation of these strategies.

The HR Manager will optimize relationships of associates, managers and operating company leadership; linking human resources strategies to business objectives: ensuring compliance with all labor laws; counseling and advising management on a variety of topics related to talent including design and implementation of training, performance management, and organizational design programs.


Key responsibilities:


  • Operate as a business partner to commercial management, understanding the business strategies, goals, objectives and financial performance of the organization; building ongoing relationships with associates and managers

  • Provide hands-on support to employees and managers to better understand and utilize HR tools, processes and policies; maximizing organizational effectiveness, improving performance and ensuring compliance

  • Advise and assist managers in achieving business goals through appropriate interventions; implementing and managing HR resource solutions, programs and services to maximize the achievement of short- and long-range business objectives (e.g., change initiatives, employee relations, talent and performance management/Development Drives and manages

  • Actively attend in Workforce Planning and Headcount management

  • Provides consultation and training on Engagement & Retention of associates

  • Drives and manages Performance Mgmt processes including coaching leaders on tough conversations, co-creating performance improvement plans and ensuring leaders are following through with the annual process

  • Consults with clients on internal movement decisions; transfers, promotions, job enhancements and ensures decisions are in line with company policy and leveling guides

  • Partners with client group to effectively acquire professional/management and possibly leadership level talent for assigned client group

  • Conduct Employee Relations investigations and consult with managers and ER counsel on outcomes and next steps

  • May co-facilitate training and development programs

  • Reports monthly metrics to HR leadership and drives to ensure that countermeasures are in place when not hitting targets

  • Consults with leaders on talent management and organizational design challenges

  • Assess the impact of business decisions on the workforce and providing solutions to optimize opportunities and mitigate any downsides

Job Requirements



Qualifications



  • Min. 12 years of HR experience with 5+ years as HR manager or HR business partner responsible for all HR functions in organization (key) for the organization with >100 associates

  • Candidates should have working experience in a multinational company and familiar with matrix reporting structure

  • Candidates with working experience outside Turkey such as Middle East, US or Europe will be highly preferred

  • Solid and sophisticated skills in: communication, consulting, contracting, mediating, negotiating, coaching, conflict solving and processes execution. Strong analytical skill and working with data

  • Experience in compensation, recruiting, employee relations, organizational development is a key

  • Experience in HR processes design, development and outsourcing

  • Thorough and deep knowledge of the employee life cycle including: attracting talents, recruiting, building engagement and manage associate development within the organization

  • Working knowledge of Turkish employment law

  • Experience leading or contributing to small to medium scale re-orgs, org alignment, workforce planning efforts

  • Experience managing complex and cross-functional initiatives, processes, or projects

  • Exposure to and comfort with higher managers daily communication

  • Fluency in English and Turkish
