Description

The
HR Manager will work with his/her business partners to establish and deliver a
broad range of HR service. This includes but is not limited to managing and
supporting in the following critical areas within HR: talent acquisition and
talent development; engagement and retention; training; employee relations; HR
compliance, and general policy administration.

  • Advises and partners with associates and people leaders
  • Responsible for implementation of key talent and management processes
    including consulting with leaders regarding team development and
    personal/professional development of associates
  • Drives core processes
    supporting performance management, associate engagement surveys and talent
    management
  • Drives and manages employment relations responsibilities including
    coaching leaders on tough conversations, co-creating performance improvement
    plans, and ensuring leaders are following through with processes
  • Leads in developing best practices and implementing site-related
    policies and processes as applicable
  • Supports recruiting and employment activities to ensure the timely
    placement of qualified associates
  • Champions the Danaher Business System (DBS). DBS is the organizational
    culture that encompasses continuous improvement and policy deployment of
    strategic initiatives
  • Takes personal ownership for key site HR metrics (recruitment,
    development, retention, etc.)
  • Properly executes corporate policies and HR programs ensuring quality,
    delivery and cost.
  • Ensures compliance with employment-related laws
  • Facilitates training
    and development programs
  • Delivers change
    management consultation to clients
  • Consults with leaders on talent management and organizational design
    challenges.
  • Conducts any additional duties as required

Job Requirements



Qualifications

•       
Graduate degree and 8+
years relevant experience.



•       
Works with integrity
and leads by example with compliance.



•       
Proven track record
partnering successfully with works councils.



•       
German legislation,
taxes & social security experience necessary.



•       
Fluency in both written
and spoken English and German required.



•       
Highly effective
