WATER QUALITY GROUP

Danaher`s Water Quality Business is a global leader in water quality analysis and treatment, providing instrumentation and disinfection systems to help analyze and manage the quality of ultra-pure water, portable water, wastewater, groundwater and ocean water in residential, commercial, industrial, and natural resource applications. Our water quality business provides products under a variety of brands, including HACH, ChemTreat, and Trojan Technologies.



Description

Purpose of Position
Partner with WQ business leaders and associates to provide local HR services in a proactive and solution oriented manner and aligned with the business strategy for assigned client groups.    
Essential Functions
  • Understand the LATAM HR strategy and local business needs, to define priorities and action plans;
  • Challenge the current organizational structure and propose solutions to drive superior performance;
  • Lead and Coordinate Talent Acquisition process;
  • Onboarding and local Immersion Plans;
  • Bring innovative HR best practices through benchmarking, or inter OpCo’s relationship;
  • Perform a role as organizational consultant for all associates;
  • Provide coaching and development to local staff team;
  • Lead Talent Acquisition in your country;
  • Deploy Corporate Leadership Programs;
  • Support the OTA process when needed;
  • Lead Engagement actions in your country and follow up the action plans;
  • Apply the Compensation & Benefits processes and actions;
  • Lead local events and Recognition programs;
  • Lead P4G/ D4G programs in your country;
  • Support Compliance training and local investigations;
  • Lead Daily/ Visual Management in your respective country;
  • Responsible for accurate data in Workday, according to specific guidance;
  • Responsible for management of payroll process, medical leave/leave of absences;
  • Lead health & wellness initiates;
  • Work and labor relations in your country;
  • Other business initiatives as assigned by the HR Director and/or local General Manager

Qualifications

Education, Background and Skill Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required (or equivalent combination of education and applicable HR experience in lieu of degree)
  • Professional HR certification preferred.
  • 5-8 years experience HR administration in a high growth, changing environment with a solid track record of successfully implementing HR programs and initiatives.
  • Excellent writing and grammar skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills (like people)
  • Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office Suite)
  • Process (DBS) orientation
  • Strong conflict management skills
  • Negotiation

Environment:  Office and logistic operations environment. 

Travel: This position requires availability of 10% to travel
