The role

There are multiple roles of an entry level / Junior level position based in the Melbourne R&D centre and will work within a highly experienced and fast paced team developing a new medical instrument. We will provide support and training for technical skills but you will need to bring a passion for learning and productive work ethics.
What you will be doing

Undertake verification activities to ensure the software and device under test satisfies the applicable user needs, quality and regulatory requirements.
Review of Functional and Non-Functional Requirements
Author of Test Cases and Procedures
Execution of Test Cases / Procedures and sign-off of result
Document and Review Defects reports
Participation in project planning activities, including estimates of detailed level project related verification activities

Job Requirements


What you will need
Graduate or post-graduate qualifications in Information Technology, Computer Science or Engineering (electrical/electronic) with 0-2 years of experience. Alternatively, equivalent experience in related field.
ISTQB foundation certification or equivalent within 6 months of starting at Leica.
Awareness of the application of fundamental test processes and methods.
Awareness of the following technologies:
MS Windows OS environment.
Basic Scripting.
Awareness of the application of test process through software development life cycles.
Excellent documentation and communication skills.
