The role
As a global support engineer you will be constantly interacting with your customers, Esko technical staff and distributors. To proactively serve your customers, you will build up your technical competences and share your knowledge with them. As the 'Voice of your Customers' towards product management and R&D, you take ownership to improve the quality of our products. You know the “latest and greatest” before release of the product.
You are also there to answer the questions from your customers 'first time right'. You do this by diagnosing & solving issues reported by your customers, all in line with our service level agreements. You will do this either remotely or by going on-site.
In case of software bugs or hardware defects, you help out your colleagues in R&D by reproducing these bugs and documenting defects, before sending it to them.
Further to this, you will develop and maintain training material, knowledge base articles, etc. and continuously contribute to improving our way of working.

Job Requirements


  • have good technical knowledge of precision mechanics
  • are familiar with Mechatronics, Servo controlled systems, Electronics, and Machine control systems
  • In depth technical knowledge of Kongsberg tables and iPC is a plus
  • are fluent in writing and speaking English, any other language is a plus
  • are analytical and creative in finding a solution or workaround
  • are able to build good relationships with your stakeholders 
  • have a high sense of urgency 
  • are diplomatic 
  • collaborate well in a team environment
  • Have fun in continuous learning new products, functionality, … and want to grow in this role
  • are willing to travel on a regular basis
