• Provide administrative assistance with database maintenance, customer service related inquires, and literature inventory management as necessary..

The Marketing Communications Specialist will support the Global Marketing department in the deployment of marketing campaigns to support key regional initiatives promoting market share growth for various products.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Support initiatives outlined in annual global marketing plan, including but not limited to deployment of direct marketing programs, new product launches, and promotional campaigns in print and electronic/web media.
• Thoroughly critique layout/design, messaging, accuracy, corporate style adherence, and legal clearance of marketing pieces.
• Facilitate direct marketing campaigns using internal databases (CRM) to identify member segments and target prospects for product offers.
• Effectively communicate with the sales team on all upcoming marketing actions and programs.
• Coordinate the direction of marketing actions and provide detailed mailing instructions to fulfillment groups.
• Track all marketing project spend on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis and monitor the return on investment (ROI) on every project completed.
• Work closely with translation companies, freebie item vendors, mailing houses, and print houses.
• Perform various other marketing duties as assigned, including the development of customer surveys, collateral production and tracking, mailings, editing and proofreading, and general project management.
• Provide administrative assistance with database maintenance, customer service related inquires, and literature inventory management as necessary.

Job Requirements


Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:

• BA/BS degree in Marketing, Business, or Life/Physical Sciences required.
• 1-2 years of experience in Marketing, Communications, or Project Management preferred.
• Ability to organize workload for effective, timely implementation.
• Strong initiative and ability to learn quickly.
• Ability to communicate effectively with service providers, departments, individuals and teams.
• Ability to proofread and write clear, compelling, informative, marketing-oriented and/or explanatory copy for a variety of mediums.
• PC proficiency in Windows environment to include MS Office suite.
• Experience in web/html and emailing marketing programs a plus.
• Experience with Customer Relationship Management software (i.e. Microsoft Dynamics) and marketing automation tools (i.e. Eloqua, Marketo, or similar) a plus.
• Ability to write professionally and speak fluent English is required.
• Spanish, French, or other language capabilities a plus.
