Description


Position Objective:



The ‘Lead SSD SAP SD – will be primarily responsible for the development of primarily using SAP ERP SD (Sales and Distribution). Reporting to the IT Manager Solutions & Service Delivery, this role will be responsible for the global implementation of RICEF’s and administration of existing information technology solutions. The key objective of this position is to deliver the enhancements and Projects through solutions and services related to SAP SD (Sales and Distribution)– Sales and Distribution platform ecosystem. This position will be responsible for delivery SAP Enhancements but also capable to understand business needs and translate into SAP functional solutions – Techno Functional role. Also, is required to work collaboratively across various functions while leveraging a strong global delivery framework to continue to deliver value at a lower cost to serve.



Major Responsibilities:




  • Understand and Delivery & Techno-Functional solutions and services in SAP SD (Sales and Distribution)

  • Collaborate regularly with the other IT SAP functional, Business and Basis teams to help deliver solutions and maximize the value of our investment in strategic enterprise resource planning SAP

  • Delivery Techno-Functional Projects that require planning, execution the development objects and SAP Functional solutions working along internal and external resources.

  • Ensure ongoing operational support of current applications while assisting in the management of the development lifecycle and delivery of programing solutions

  • Advocate and enforce applicable standards, policies, procedures and development management best practices in the implementation and/or maintenance of IT Applications.

  • Key Performance Indicators / Metrics:

  • On-Time / Within-Budget Delivery of Large Projects & Small Enhancements

  • IT Incidents SLA% & Mean-Time-To-Resolve (MTTR)

  • Translate Business Requirement, Functional Specs in Technical Specs and Solutions

  • Translate Business Requirements in SAP SD (Sales and Distribution)Functional Solutions

  • Expert knowledge of SAP SD (Sales and Distribution) Business Processes and Configuration.

  • An expert on the capability, functions and the detailed configuration of SD/ (Sales and Distribution) Logistics modules

  • Able to show deep business process understanding of sales and logistics and good knowledge of adjacent functions such as production, Materials Management and basic finance.

  • Able to do ABAP debugging independently with knowledge of Forms, Workflows, Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements and Batch job maintenance.

  • Knowledge of Country localizations for Brazil, China, India, Argentina, Mexico and other countries in the Sales and Distribution area.

  • Working knowledge of Interfaces (EDI, XML etc..) with other SAP and non-SAP systems and middleware.

  • Responsible for Large and Small project work as well as helpdesk support

Position Competency Requirements:




  • Techno-Functional experience with ABAP and SAP ERP (SD) Sales and Distribution

  • Hands-on configuration and support experience in SAP's SD Sales and Distribution module

  • Participation in 3 full cycle implementations within SD Sales and Distribution and support experience

  • Experience in customer order management and/or distribution management for a consumer goods company with large number of SKUs, multiple operating companies and both internal and external manufacturing. 

  • Expert Understanding SAP SD Sales and Distribution interfacing with other SAP modules like MM, FICO, C4C etc.

  • SOX environment experience

  • Experience must include Stock Transport Orders, Intercompany processes, Batch job maintenance and SD related EDI.

  • Expert with RICEFS- reports, Interfaces, Conversions, workflows, Forms, enhancements

  • Hands-on configuration and support experience in SAP's SD Sales and Distribution module

  • Ability to collaborate in a cross-functional team environment

  • Familiarity with formal change management and System Development Life Cycle Systems like Clarity

  • SAP Authorizations and security roles

  • Experience of implementing SAP service management (SAP ECC CS or SAP CRM Service) is required

  • Experience of implementing SAP Workflow is required. Experience of RFC interface and ABAP knowledge is required.

  • Experience integrating SAP systems with external systems, SAP and Non-SAP systems

  • 10+ years in Information Technology, Business Systems, delivery and customer facing roles

  • Strong project management skills

  • Ability to be and work in office at least three days a week and work remotely when needed. This is not a remote position

  • Strong presentation skills

  • Expertise working with global team’s key internal stakeholders

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or computer science, information systems or related field

  • Strong analytical, interpersonal, organizational and interpersonal communication skills

  • Global working environment with occasional conference calls during evenings & weekends

  • International Flexible travel
