Position Summary:

Provide primary engineering role for Pall Corporation’s global Voice infrastructure in EMEA.

Main Duties:
  • Collect and analyze EMEA user Voice requirements and plan/integrate IT-approved solutions.
  • Provide technical support of EMEA Unify voice services and legacy solutions as required.
  • Implement and test UCaaS (Unified Communications as a Service) solution.
  • Manage telecom and mobile phone vendor sourcing, consolidation, and contract negotiation for EMEA sites.
  • Track EMEA telecom and mobile phone spending and work with Director to plan annual budget.
  • Monitor a voice incident queue and work trouble tickets.
  • Work with external suppliers on voice planning, implementation, and support activities.
  • Communicate and work with IT support and engineering teams.

Job Requirements


Essential Knowledge & Skills:
  • User voice requirement collection and solution generation/integration
  • Voice infrastructure incident monitoring and resolution
  • General troubleshooting skills
  • IP (Internet Protocol) and Telecom concepts
Essential Previous Experience:
  • Around 3 years of Telecommunications Technical Support experience in an environment that entails public switched telephone network with voice gateways that enable connection between PSTN and IP phones
  • UCaaS Fundamentals
  • VoIP Fundamentals and QoS
  • TCP/IP Fundamentals
  • IP Packet Analysis and troubleshooting
