Position Description

As a Water Quality Platform (WQP) Digital Strategist, you will be responsible for accelerating growth (Leads and eCommerce) amongst designated WQP Operating Companies through working with WQP Marketing Leaders to develop and execute best-in-class Digital Strategies that align with Opco broader Omni-Channel strategies. Further, he/she will identify and provide guidance for Digital Transformation opportunities found across the Water Quality Platform.  

Specific responsibilities include:
  • Web Commercialization / eCommerce / Leads and funnel performance with growth through the Paid/Organic Search channels with profitability in mind.
  • Work globally and cross-functionally with Marketing, Product Management and Sales Leaders to develop and execute impactful Digital Strategies that align with their broader Omni-Channel Marketing Strategies.
  • Apply DBS (or similar Business System) principles and best practices to drive growth.
  • Evolve the Water Quality Platform’s Digital Channels such as Local, Social, Mobile Web, Search, email, etc. as VOC and usage dictates. 
  • Promote a fast and agile work environment/process to foster ‘test, learn, change, repeat’ mentality
  • Have a deep understanding of analytics and uses these key insights to shape Digital Strategies to include leveraging Data for decision-making.  Monitor performance of Digital Portals, Campaigns and Enhancements to drive traffic, improve conversion that meet or exceed direct sales targets.
  • Work closely with vendors/agencies to maximize growth and ROI.
  • Drive alignment of customer journey with best-in-class user experience. 
  • Increase test and learn experiments in a structured manner to optimize overall digital experience for our customers.   
  • Maintain a strong understanding of fundamental web site usability best practices, browser compatibility, best of user interface, etc.
Other Non-Essential Functions
  • Attend cross functional and other marketing meetings outside of direct scope of work.
  • Aid in training and developing Digital knowledge of new and existing associates.

Job Requirements


  • Degree with emphasis in business, marketing, communications, computer science, finance, related degree or equivalent work experience.
  • In-depth knowledge of paid and organic search practices in a B2B or B2C environment.
  • Experience with agile project management methodologies like SCRUM is a plus.
  • Extensive experience developing and executing Strategy at the corporate/enterprise level. 
  • Basic understanding of Digital promotional tools and strategies.
  • Basic understanding of web UX/UI and conversion techniques.
  • Basic understanding of budgeting and budget tracking.
  • Basic understanding of competitive intelligence techniques.
  • Some limited travel requirements.
