Purpose of Position

The Global Data Warehouse Manager is a key position responsible for leading Hach’s cross-functional Global Data Reporting Governance Body. The mission for the Global Data Reporting Governance Body is to make it easy for Hach decision-makers to access the information they need, when they need it so they can make high quality decisions based on information that is global, accurate and current.
  • Manage the Global Data Reporting Governance Body including the scope of work, team members, and cadence of reviews and updates
  • Drive the long term strategy and associated short term action plans for global data reporting including the development of new data marts
  • Support data expansion for existing data marts by coordinating business stakeholders to define needs, requirements and globally conformed data standards
  • Lead the cross functional team to facilitate collaborative execution of the strategy and action plans
  • Manage projects within the team to achieve project milestones on time and with high quality
  • Create visual management tracking that allows key stakeholders including the team to access real time project updates 
  • Communicate global reporting project updates to all key stakeholders, including Hach’s Senior Team
  • Teach commercial leaders within the organization how to navigate data to drive better decision making
  • Manage key data sets that exist outside of source systems (ex. Product Features) and initiate projects to move these data sets into source systems where feasible
  • Resolve any conflicts and escalate to the DBS Growth Manager or Executive Sponsors as necessary for support and coaching

Job Requirements


  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or other advanced degree desired
  • 5+ years experience in hands-on data warehousing project delivery 
  • 5+ years experience in successfully leading global projects desired
  • Experience with IT systems (ex. Infor, Oracle, OIC, Noetix, Agile, Qlikview, OfficePlus, SFDC) desired 
  • Must be curious to find new solutions and driven to implement the changes 
  • Must demonstrate structured thinking regarding data systems
  • Passionate and enthusiastic about organizing and converting raw data to accurate and timely information for good decision making
  • Ability to synthesize inputs from multiple global stakeholders and deal with complexity 
  • Capable of driving timely decisions while being open to differing perspectives 
  • Strong business and strategic acumen
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
