The GAM overseas a portfolio of Global Chemical companies across the Industrial sectors. He or she develops the account strategy for their accounts, guiding a team of field sales bringing value for the customer by utilizing the resources of Pall and therefore demonstrates solutions that are clearly differentiated from our competitors and in turn, drive profitable and sustainable growth for Pall. 

  • Develop, implement and execute account strategies & plans, designed to drive more orders and revenue with Customer Accounts 
  • Coordinate and utilize resources to present "one face" to the customer to provide complete customer happiness. 
  • Develop and execute on Strategies and Opportunities 
  • Discover and develop global partnerships 
  • Negotiate agreements and contracts 
  • Provide commercial direction and support to the Regional Account Managers and regional account teams 
  • Provide business analysis including market trends, customer retention and development and other activities as required 
  • Monitor competitive landscape activity and advise Field Sales professionals on how to best work with customers  
  • Create and maintain customer profile and SWOT for designated customers including sales potential, operating structure, sites, contacts, and other information as needed 
  • Collaborate with Sales Management and Services Team to ensure the ongoing gains/wins of Aftermarket and Service Based Products 
  • Establish and grow relationships with senior management and decision makers with the assigned customers/accounts. 
  • Collaborate with cross functional resources as needed to achieve regional, market, product or account specific objectives 
  • Contribute to the collection, documenting and execution of standards and best methodologies from customers and associates within Pall 

Job Requirements


Minimum Requirements: 

Bachelor s degree in Chemical Engineering  
+10 years in an Account Management role with a preference towards global accounts

  • Expertise in strategic selling to large global companies with complex multi plant foot print, complex matrix of financial and end user buyers. 
  • Expertise in partnering with customers, building sustainable relationships and bringing to bear customer insights and decision criteria to drive solutions and strategies across the organization which address previously unmet and evolving needs  
  • Understand complex account interdependencies and develop both short- and long-term account plans in conjunction with a wide array of partners.  
  • Effectively lead an account team to meet short and long term account objectives 
  • Demonstrates ability to align objectives across stakeholders or networks of stakeholders to create successful solutions to satisfy all parties. 
  • Demonstrates the ability to mentor others on effective communication techniques and integrate different, points of view in decisions and ideas  
  • Applies in-depth knowledge of the business climate, market dynamics and trends for assigned accounts as well as overall market potential based on unique opportunities and risks in the local markets in order to develop account plans and integrate them to drive business results 
  • Applies understanding of the industry issues and trends, to develop data and position products for maximum advantage 
  • Execute at each stage of the sales process and guides others in developing selling skills 
  • Coaches others on leading effective dialog with customers and addresses customer needs and successfully positions Pall portfolios.

  • Ability to deal with different cultures 
  • No restrictions to travelling globally
