Description

Primarily responsible for all Corporate Financial Service activity related to a small number of EMEA legal entities across France and Morocco.

Role and Duties:
• Responsible, in tandem with entity finance management, for the on-time and accurate production of monthly accounts as per corporate schedules for nominated entities.
• Responsible for the maintenance of documentation required by both internal and external auditors.
• Liaison with the internal and external auditors as needed during audits.
• Responsible for the submission to corporate of all assigned entities via the HFM process.
• To work towards the 100% attainment of all CFS/Country related critical metrics.

Knowledge & Key Skills:
• Ability to provide financial control over nominated entities supported by the UK CFS ensuring that operationally adequate systems of internal control and suitable monitoring procedures are in place. Actively contribute to process changes to strengthen control environment and process efficiency.
• Ability to prioritise. Must be able to handle multiple demands and use available resources in order to deliver a world-class service to CFS customers.
• Processing essential month end tasks including revaluation, Goods In Transit and journals, entry performed with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to communicate effectively and maintain a high level of customer service with relevant entity finance management.
• Ability to meet deadlines; deliver against all corporate reporting deadlines, display an appropriate sense of urgency and approach to escalation.
• Perform all duties compliant to Statutory, SOX, Company policies and code of conduct.

Miscellaneous: 
• Must be able to work on a flexible basis at month-ends and/or if projects require slightly longer hours than usual. This will include some bank holiday working. During the 2-day month end reporting window late evening working may be required.

Qualifications

• Minimum AAT Qualified or suitably qualified by experience.

Preferred Previous Experience:
• Experience in a shared service accounting environment.
• Exposure to SAP or ERP equivalent.
• Experience of working in a multicultural team environment.
• Knowledge of US GAAP.
