Description

Position Objective
This role is responsible for
• developing and driving marketing action plans in liaison with the Portfolio Management team to help APAC its achieve their AOP targets
• achieving the strategic goals for products via Product Life Cycle Management by driving new product launches in APAC
• implementing impactful sales and application tools and strategies in APAC
• taking ownership of the obsolescence program and partnering with the sales team to win


Essential Job Functions: 
• Develop & drive action plans in APAC to support Product Life Cycle Management process
o Own targeted Market growth results tracking, goals and countermeasures
o Ensure Competitive product and company tracking and analysis
o Run VOC to support Strategic Plan, Goal Deployment and New Product Development
o Take part of the Product development through all Stage Gates with robust commercial deliverables
o Consolidate Product sales forecast in APAC
o Manage APAC supply disruptions and obsolescence/discontinuation plan
• Develop, communicate, and own the Technical Marketing Plans and Value Proposition for products
o Develop new product and application launch programs in APAC (analyze data, provide guidance, take ownership of tactical & strategic product obsolescence)
o Develop, test and promote sales tools for Pall APAC Sales Personnel, Distributor Sales Personnel and End User with targeted materials / applications
• Ensure APAC Sales Force has full understanding of marketing plans and messages
o Develop & implement product related training programs and seminars for Sales Force
o Develop materials and information to support key and strategic accounts
o Track Sales force understanding / product knowledge / value proposition via sales calls, surveys and other periodic follow ups
o Coordinate with Marcom-APAC the translation work

Job Requirements



Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:
• BS degree in Chemical Engineering, Fluid Dynamics or equivalent  - a MSc would be better
• 7+ years of experience in product management and new product launches

Position Competencies (include behavioral characteristics and leadership capabilities)
Dealing with ambiguity, acting with a sense of urgency; Taking ownership and accountability; and developing strong working relationships (cross-functional function: Engineering, Production, Transformative Marketing, SLS, etc.)
Comfortable in front of customers, calibrated to become one of the ‘Go To’ experts in 2 years in APAC
