The Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for the Sale of Beckman Coulter Flow Cytometry Software Solution, including our Enterprise Cytobank platform in the European region. The post holder will be expected to achieve area targets and develop the business within that territory. The focus will be on selling these products into the Academic Institutes and the Pharma, Biotech, CRO companies. 
The position is home based in Germany with travel up to 40%.

Key tasks:

• Achieve revenue and margin targets in the assigned territory. 
• Develop strategic account planning activities, to open new accounts in the territory assigned, while maintaining the existing customer base.
• Coordinate activities in the key accounts, either competitive or existing customers, in his/her territory, interacting with colleagues from other departments to ensure they implement the planned activities.
• Responsible for Product Presentations and demonstrations virtually and in person.
• Produce and deliver commercial proposals to customers.
• Report on a constant basis field activity with customers.
• Responsible for understanding and hosting customer agreements, such as understanding customer needs amendment request as it relates to Data Security and GDPR and service requirements (Required for Enterprise Customers). Software as a Service.

Job Requirements


Key requirements: 

• Educated to BSc Standard in a Biological or related subject. Other candidates with educational background in (Bio)Engineering, Mathematics or similar with a strong Flow Cytometry experience will be eligible.  
•  Working experience in health care environment or university research or laboratory is beneficial.
• Experience selling Software into a related business in Biotech/Biopharma.  
• Data analysis in the cloud
• Flow Cytometry knowledge.
• Working by objectives.
• Ability to work individually or a part of a team. 
• At least 2 years of extensive sales experience in an international environment
• A self-motivated person, independent worker who demonstrated self-problems solving skills.
• A passionate, energetic, results driven individual.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Great communication skills ind German and English (written and verbal). Any additional European language is a plus.
• Travel: up to 40%
• Full clean driving license and passport.
