Description

Key responsibilities:
• Financial Business Partner to VP Core Histology
• Drive projects/investments and cost analysis and help in process improvement.
• Leading the Finance Core Histology Team in Nussloch, Richmond and Shanghai
• Strong people leadership of the finance organization.
• Partner with VP Core Histology to enable growth and development through finance intervention.
• Continuous organizational review & development of LBS finance setup in the BU Core Histology
• Analyse monthly, quarterly and annual financial reporting along with insights regarding key drivers and initiate countermeasures in the BU deviates from its targets.
• Bring strong financial stability through closing process, internal controls, cost discipline and forecasting accuracy.
• Global Working Capital management (DSO, DPO and Inventory) drive and process harmonization
• Develop, implement and maintain accounting and administrative policies and procedures for a wide-ranging set of activities including financial accounting and reporting and other corporate policies.
• Interact with other managers to provide consultative support to planning initiatives through financial and management information analyses, reports and recommendations.
• Own and run all of LBS budget, forecasting and actual reporting processes including all related deliverables (Flash reports, FC & Actual Narratives, FC review files, Presidents letter inputs, budget decks, strategy financials). • Ensure that all Danaher adhoc request and deadlines are followed across LBS.
• Conduct special analysis and projects (e.g. M&A) as per CFO guidance




Job Requirements



Qualifications

Requirements:
• Experienced in working in an international environment.
• Experience of working in a US organization and/or matrix structured business would be beneficial.
• Track record of success and progression within the Finance function, especially in the areas of financial control, cost management, financial planning and forecasting, system & process improvement.
• Experience of financial management in R&D and Manufacturing environment.
• Experience in leading and developing talent, build a high-performance team.
• Experienced in Reporting, Forecasting and Consolidation processes.
• M&A experience


Education:
• Degree qualified in a Finance discipline.
• Professional qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) is preferred.

• Excellent planning and organization skills, a structured and process-oriented individual.
• High level of commercial and finance acumen coupled with a hands-on attitude.
• Must be self-motivated with ability to develop, encourage and lead a strong efficient team.
• Open-minded, out-going personality, confident.

• Comfortable working in a deadline driven reporting process environment.
• Committed to continuous improvement by implementing and using DBS tools
