Description

In charge of the full P&L for the BU (Commercial, Operations and R&D aspects)

Partners with the BU President & provides pertinent data to establish Operational and Financial goal alignment and drive towards results.

Leads Problem Solving Process (PSP) for financial cover value drivers or KPIs not achieving target.

Provide Financial leadership for the Business Unit communicating and influencing non direct reports to achieve results

Responsible for the proactive coordination, completion, and documentation of highly complex and involved financial analyses projects.  

Serves as the financial advisor by translating financial information for business unit leadership of the most complex business situations to drive profitability and optimum allocation of resources.

Responsible for developing models for forecasting, budgeting and any kind of look forward analyses.

Responsibility to ensure compliance with US GAAP and Corporate Finance Policies

Strives to identify and understand the key value drivers for the products, markets, customers and R&D investments where the BU participates.

Actively participate and support the Strategic Plan for the BU and its conversion into Annual Budget.

Support the process of identification, valuation and integration of business acquisitions.

Maintains a high level Operational understanding of the value streams of customers and Pall mfg. sites and the financial components of the value streams (Volume, overhead cost, labor cost, standards, yields, productivity, etc..).

Coordinates with Corporate FP&A/LOB and CO COE and key plant contacts in preparation of the annual budget process for BU and mfg. site including as well as analysis key value drivers and variances.

Completes required reporting/standard templates for actual results, budgeting, forecasting, in month and in year projections with analytical commentary

Drives Finance team performance and engagement through standard communication (team meetings and 1:1)


Job Requirements



Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in Finance/Accounting

At least 10 years of finance experience with working knowledge of US GAAP and SOX requirements

1+ years of experience in M&A and financial due diligence

1+ years of advanced use of Excel and experience in Word, PowerPoint


Preferred Qualifications:

MBA in Finance/Accounting

Professional accounting qualifications

Knowledge of SAP preferred particularly in FI and CO modules

Requires thorough professional knowledge and industry experiences within the area of FP&A

Understands and  leads valuations for Return on Investment (ROI) for highly technical product areas and company infastructure. Understand OROC concept and how to make it improving

Recognized leadership driving advanced analytics. Motivated and excited by understanding the business and wanting to help grow business through strong financial consultation

Intellectual curiosity and able to challenge the status quo and business assumption at senior level

Understands and can consult on driving profitable revenue growth

Has strength of convictions and ability to present facts and data in a compelling argument for business position discussions with the most senior leaders
