Key responsibilities:

People Management 
Build and develop the team to increase goal achievement, process efficiency and customer and associate satisfaction. Establish clear goals, setup effective communication systems and encourage collaboration within the team. Support and develop the team with routine 1:1’s and performance reviews

Technical Field Service Activities 
Visit customers, oversee, support and mentor Field Service Engineers for daily activities, preventive maintenance, repairs, fault analysis, phone support and upgrades to achieve first class customer care

Service Revenues  
Achieve revenue utilization targets, as well as all other KPI’s set up annually
Develop new ways to leverage service organization for growth opportunities

• Contract Management 
Negotiate local discounts based on delegation matrix

Repair Workshops 
Oversee daily activities in the workshop; organize repairs in the Business Units if needed

Ensure relevant DBS tools are used to drive process improvements, using KPIs and target setting. Ensure the correct use of Mobile Service, Implement robust Daily Management through QDIP. Routinely apply Problem Solving Processes to implement root cause and counter measures when needed. Participate to Kaizen events where requested.

Support DACH and EMEA Management on demand for ad hoc projects, as well as being supportive toward colleagues of other Departments

Job Requirements


• Commercial drive to run service as a business with a profit and loss view

• Proven track record in using and implementing KPIs for service 

• Ability to drive customer satisfaction

• Ability to plan own work and work unsupervised, ensuring high level of team engagement

• Manage low performers through strong development and performance improvement plans

• Ability to prioritise team workloads to maximise efficiencies

• Manage team members through performance and development objectives

• Ability and willingness to organise one’s own travel 

• Fluency in English, with strong communications skills

• Support Sales to sell and promote service contracts/products

• Negotiate with Customers and Internal Counterparts prices and costs for service

• Coordinate Service Product Specialists and Business Units for 2nd and 3rd level escalations using standard operating procedures

• Support Application Specialists for relevant escalations

• Familiarity with standard IT tools such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint

• Knowledge of key SAP reports and transactions

• Knowledge of Mobile Service reporting and tools

• Motivation to standardize and improve processes

• Product market awareness

• Technical Product Knowledge of LBS portfolio
