The primary purpose of this position is to deliver, promote, and sell high quality technical service within the area of responsibility with the objective of achieving customer satisfaction whilst obtaining individual or team revenue and KPIs targets.

Additional Responsibilities:

- Visit customers for preventative maintenance, repairs, fault analysis, phone support and upgrades in order to achieve optimum customer care and ensure a professional repair in due time with effective and efficient working practice

- Deliver accurate reporting, handling and timely submissions of Mobile Service reports, Expenses, Spares Stock management and other Service documentation

- Co-operate closely with Systems Team to ensure all customers in the service area provided a professional After sales service within the KPI's set by EU manager

- Co-operate closely with Sales Representatives within LS Research Segment in order to support activities such as Installations and Demo/exhibitions

- Exchange valuable information resulting from customer contacts to increase customer satisfaction and sales

- Co-operate closely with Customer Care in order to ensure smooth and fast processes and information flow

Job Requirements


- HNC / Degree in Systems Engineering or equivalent, or strong field service experience in a relevant industry
- Fluency in English and strong communication skills

- Able to Demonstrate understanding of basic Optical principles and demonstrate sound Electronic and Instrumentation engineering skills

- Familiarity with standard IT tools

- Ability to plan own work and work unsupervised

- MBO / HBO technical school background

- Must have experience from field work with high tech equipment

- Knowledge of field upgrades

- Working within the industry and knowledge of lasers is preferred
