POSITION SUMMARY:

We are seeking an Executive Assistant who will work closely with the Vice Presidents of Marketing and IT to advance strategic priorities that will position Hach for long-term commercial success.  This person has a seat at the table on the Hach Marketing leadership team to help build a winning culture, drive employee engagement, improve internal communication, and lead other key projects.  The successful candidate will also partner with the Vice Presidents to drive productivity gains and ensure alignment to strategic priorities in managing traffic of approvals, meetings, email, travel and presentations.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 
  • Provide thought partnership and general support to the Vice Presidents of Marketing and IT
  • Ensure strategic alignment and productivity of VP time by creating calendar priorities, email responses, clear expectations for meetings, and efficient global travel plans
  • Lead VP direct reports in prioritizing discussion topics and decisions to be made at global staff and other key meetings, including distribution of pre-read materials and post-meeting notes
  • Drive faster decision-making and feedback by creating, communicating and executing efficient approval processes and workflows  
  • Identify and lead key initiatives to improve employee engagement, internal communications and impact other department and company-wide focus areas
  • Plan and execute team-building, training, and other events that will reinforce a diverse, inclusive culture and build the skill-set of associates across Hach and Danaher
  • Partner with executive support staff across Hach to drive continuous process improvement, collaboration and backup support as needed
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • Impeccable accuracy and attention to detail in formatting, writing and proofreading.
  • Experienced and comfortable with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Proficiency in time and project management; able to manage multiple priorities with speed and accuracy.
  • Capability to work extended hours on a periodic basis, including the potential for occasional overnight travel.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Must be able to operate proactively and anticipate future needs or obstacles before they arise.
  • Ability to multi-task and work with, and for, diverse customers with varying leadership styles.
