General Summary:
The ERP Systems Analyst - Application Support is responsible for ongoing daily support of our main ERP application (AX2012) and  use a wide application of principles, theories, and concepts related to ERP systems, to provide solutions to a diverse array of difficult problems. The individual in this position may lead medium project and work teams and will work on several complex business applications. Analyzes and evaluates existing or proposed systems and devices or modifies procedures to process data and solve problems. Assists others in support of applications, projects and goals.

Duties and Responsibilities:
• Involved in the implementation and ongoing daily support of ERP applications.
• Responsible for providing business systems analysis services (identify, analyze, define, troubleshoot, design, test, deliver, maintain).
• Report, track, and resolve application related issues with internal and vendor support organizations
• Collaborate with project leads to determine how requirements will be approached and managed for a particular project
• Define plans for post-deployment support, including engaging/preparing Service Desk, incorporating into operational support, etc.
• Work with stakeholders to prioritize requirements effectively based on business value, risks and constraints.
• Conduct application testing and provide database management support.
• Create and maintain documentation as necessary for operational and security audits.
• Develops solution by preparing and evaluating alternative workflow solutions.
• Research hardware and software technologies to decide if they offer improvements.
• Validates results by testing programs and application.
• Ensures operation by training employees and providing support.
• Establish new users, manage access levels and passwords.
• Analyze and route issues into the proper ticketing systems, update and close tickets in a timely manner.
• Up to 10% travel
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by ERP Manager

Job Requirements


Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
• Bachelor's Degree is required, preferably in Information Technology, Computer Science, or similar.
• 2 or more years of relevant work experience in managing and providing application support or business system solution services for functional business systems globally.
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics AX2012 or AX2009 is preferred
• Knowledge with Software Development Methodologies including Change Control, Development, QA, and deployment
• Strong analytical, problem solving and decision making skills
• Excellent verbal, written, and diplomatic skills
• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
• Ability to troubleshoot, research and solve technically challenging problems involving integrated systems
