We are currently seeking a Finance Compliance Manager, Internal Controls for EMEA to join our team, based out of Germany (Limburg), Italy (Milan), Spain (Madrid), United Kingdom (Huntingdon) or France (Paris).
Position Purpose:
This is a highly visible position, providing financial information to senior management and directing regional and global compliance activities with interaction across EMEA and with our corporate business in the US – so your influencing skills should be second to none!
Audit & Compliance Support:
- Implement best-in-class financial processes and controls across Videojet’s global operations
- Design and implement the annual plan for all internal and external audits, and balance sheet reviews, coordinating global activities with the support of other Regional Audit Managers and Country Controllers
- Provide support and follow-up on the closure of audit issues; including monthly updates with Regional Finance Directors and Country General Managers
- Direct SOX testing and required process improvements resulting from SOX audits
- Drive other compliance activities including anti-corruption self-assessment and actively work with Videojet’s Legal Department to develop anti-corruption policies and programs
- Execute special projects as may be required such as investigations etc.
Accounting and Reporting:
- Subject matter expert on accounting and internal finance policies, including revenue recognition
- Support the implementation of new accounting policies and standards
- Participate in month-end closing process and related activities
- Review business unit’s quarterly disclosure questionnaire

Job Requirements
Qualifications
Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Business
- CPA, ACA or location equivalent required
- Comprehensive experience from a combination of internal or external auditing (prior public accounting experience preferred) and accounting/reporting in a multi-national company
- Starting your career in one of the Big 4, you will have experience of USGAAP as well as EMEA and local country experience, preferably working in a large, complex, US owned business.
- Prior experience with ERP systems and financial reporting tools (Navision, Oracle and HFM preferred)
- A driven, collaborative and highly influential person with a desire to develop their career into a larger Finance role over the next 2-5 years.
- Best-in-class control/compliance environment, including Sarbanes-Oxley
- Manufacturing experience is a strong plus
- English language is essential, other European languages are a very strong preference
- Evidence of project management and implementing new tools and driving innovation with separate the best from the rest!
