The EHS Coordinator is responsible for ensuring working conditions compliance with local and corporate occupational safety and health regulations and procedures.
Develop and maintain an Environmental Health Safety Management System and drive a culture of continuous improvements and safe working practices .

Develop and maintain an Environmental Health Safety Management System and drive a culture of continuous improvements and safe working practices.
Major Responsibilities
  • Development and promotion of HSE Management system
  • Provide guidance and support on all EHS matters to include incident investigations and 3rd party inspections
  • Manage implementation and compliance to meet EHS standards and adherence to EHS legislative requirements
  • Promote incorporation of EH&S issues into business planning
  • Analyse safety data and recommend strategies to drive improvement
  • Drive a comprehensive audit and risk assessment program
  • Deliver internal training and induction programs on environmental, health and safety issues and risks
  • Lead committee meetings on environmental, health & safety (Site, Dangerous Goods, Fire, First Aid) and other facility EHS communications
  • Compile statistical information for monthly reporting and analysis of data using company online data collection tool

Job Requirements


To be considered for this position you must meet the following criteria: 

  • Formal qualification in HSE and knowledge of WHS
  • Comprehensive experience in EHS applied across various industries
  • Proven capability in managing HSE to AS4801, OHSAS 18001, and ISO 45001
  • Excellent organisational and people skills
  • Strong communication, negotiation and presentation skills
  • Demonstrated ability to manage internal and external stakeholders
  • Demonstrated computer proficiency and familiarity with Microsoft Windows and MS-Office products (e.g. Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
  • Knowledge and practical experience in the implementation of facility level industrial EHS programs including, but not limited to, personal protective equipment, ergonomics, chemical hazard communication, electrical safety, fire protection, and crisis management/emergency response.
  • Practical experience in formal EHS management systems, risk management processes, and root cause incident investigation techniqueHighly Desirable:
  • Experience in implementing and maintaining 3rd party certifications such as OHSAS 18001, IS) 45001,
  • Experience and training in root cause methodologies such as 5-Why, Fishbone, etc.           
  • Experience in formal continuous improvement processes such as Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma
