Description

POSITION SUMMARY

The e-commerce Specialist will work closely with the Shared Marketing Services Manager and Digital Specialists to design and execute Trojan Technologies initiatives focused on driving revenue via digital methods (Amazon, trojantechnologies.com, etc.).

Working with cross-functional teams and external resources, the e-commerce Specialist will be responsible for the day-to-day management of Trojan and third-party websites that facilitate transactions with our channel partners and end users. The focus of the role is to drive revenue and build brand equity through constant learning, testing, evolving and improving our strategy, processes and execution around e-commerce.

ACCOUNTABILITIES
  • Spearhead the execution of the recently released e-commerce DBS Tool, which is designed to support OpCos on their journey for e-commerce strategy formulation and implementation
  • Develop, coordinate, implement and optimize the Trojan Technologies e-commerce presence (internal and external websites that process transactions for our systems and consumables)
  • Manage the development, implementation, monitoring, tracking and optimizing of Trojan e-commerce presence
  • Ensure consistency of user e-commerce experience across Digital environments (mobile, tablet and desktop) in conjunction with best practices for design, engagement and usability
  • Manage relationships and projects with 3rd party vendors and corresponding budgets (as needed)
  • Pro-actively identify opportunities for program and process improvements related to e-commerce
  • Keep up to-date with best practices in B2B e-commerce and translate those trends into actions able recommendations for Trojan Technologies

Job Requirements



Qualifications

  • 3-5 years’ experience in marketing/communication, advertising/digital agency or related field.
  • Post-secondary education in communications, journalism, marketing, or digital.
  • Project management, content management skills
  • Must have experience managing large, multi-language web projects with complex back-end functionality (e-commerce, Oracle integration, marketing automation, etc)
  • Knowledge of responsive HTML, CSS, WordPress, Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite, Google Analytics.
  • Knowledge of Salesforce and Marketo considered a strong asset
