Description

Position Summary:

Support the Fluid Technology and Asset Protection (FTAP) Technology group as a member of the Technical Shared Services Design Services team.  Individual will work with new product development, Retrofit Factory, and Product Engineering team to provide design/drafting and other technical support for design projects and engineering change management.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Prepares drawings, BOM’s and manufacturing instructions for new product development projects, Retrofit Factory Projects, and Product Engineering projects and quotations.  Works closely with design originators to resolve design details or discrepancies, or to prepare drawings of unusual, complex, or original designs, which require a high degree of precision using CAD (Computer Aided Drafting) equipment and software.  (30%)
  • Responsible for completing drawing updates for engineering change requests (30%)
  • Train and develop competency within Technical Shared Services technical support for prototype lab manufacturing and lab services filter performance characterization. (40%)
  • Lead sub-projects and/or projects in area of expertise.
  • Work with teams that are not co-located across regional boundaries

Job Requirements



Qualifications

Qualifications:
  • 2 year Associates Degree minimum (BS degree preferred)
  • 2+ years minimum work experience in drafting and engineering drawing.
  • 2+ years experience in Computer Aided Drafting ability in multiple drawing software platforms mandatory


Preferred Qualifications:
  • SAP & SmarTeam experience a plus.
  • Experience with 3D printing a plus.
